You’ve probably viewed countless psychology today profiles and therapist websites. Your head is spinning, and you want to give up.

I get it. Searching for a therapist can be time-consuming and exhausting.

I’ve created this page with you in mind. I hope that this page will help you quickly determine whether or not we are a good fit.

Amanda a Christian therapist in Denver, Colorado

Hi! I’m Amanda Conroy, Online Christian Therapist in Denver, Colorado and Miramar Beach, Florida

If you’re overwhelmed by anxiety, feel stuck, or can’t seem to stop the painful memories from replaying in your mind, you’ve come to the right place!

I specialize in helping women overcome anxiety and trauma.

How I can help.

Several times I’ve been told by clients that they did not get anything out of therapy. They have said their therapy experience consisted of them talking the entire time and never learning the skills to help them with their problems.

Therapy with me will not be like that. I am not the type of therapist that will nod her head all session long and call it a day. I take an active approach.

However, I do want to stress the importance of learning about you and hearing your story. There are parts of therapy, especially the beginning, where you will do a lot of talking, and I will be listening.

I ask lots of questions! I do my best to get the whole picture and truly understand you and what you’ve experienced.

I will provide you with the tools and skills to cope with and manage problematic symptoms. I take a deep dive approach, guiding you into inner work to get to the root of your anxiety and issues that have brought you to therapy.

Clients appreciate my warm and gentle approach; while also being direct and pushing them towards their goals.

It matters to me that you feel comfortable enough to share your struggles without feeling judged or embarrassed, and that is why I strive to create an environment that is safe for you to do so.

Becoming a Therapist

God has called me to this work and has given me the skills to do this work well.

When I started my practice, I knew I had to make it known that I am a follower of Christ. I want to use my business to glorify Christ and be available for other Christians.

I love being a therapist! I always get excited for my clients and the journey they are about to embark on toward healing.

As a teenager and young adult, I struggled with anxiety. Through the word of God and therapy, I found healing, and I want that for the clients I serve.

God has used my scars and struggles to help me connect and relate to my clients.

Who I am as a Christian Therapist

I put Christ at the center of my work. I seek His wisdom and counsel and believe the good work done in my sessions comes from God and the Holy Spirit.

Clients who seek faith-based counseling with me will be provided with practical skills coupled with the truth of God’s word and His promises that offer hope that the world cannot give.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

Personal Bio

I grew up in Rochester, NY, and went to college in Buffalo, NY. After graduating with my Master’s in counseling, I moved to Colorado!

I am a wife and a mother. Recently, my family and I moved to Florida. I sure miss those mountains, but I have a deep love for the ocean. Though I am now in FL, I am maintaining my license in CO. If you are a CO resident, I will be able to meet with you virtually.

I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, reading, and being with my family.
